In fact they are saying that a product cannot do miracles and that we do not need that kind of "miracles" after all, because some standards of beauty are simply a social (and telematic) construction. The basic message is to improve ourselves, of course, but to appreciate our beautiful normality after all!

i go to christian skool and yesterday we had these speakers come and they were talkin bout creation and evolution, and of course i beleive in creation cuz im a christian.but my point is ....the dude showed this vid in his class.

thats not what theyre saying. Yeah they want you to buy their products. What company dosent? But they're promoting self-esteem and feeling good about yourself. You don't see other companies doing that. Not one Dove ad says that their product will GIVE you real beauty, but merely to buy their products but to love who you are as a woman as well.
