I agree with how our democracy is flawed for the fact that everyone else doesn't have a say, but velvet underground was the band that started all the punk, they may not have actually been full on punk, but they started punk, and the ramones actually are punk, guns n roses is straight rock n roll, the ramones are first wave punk.

Actually the capitalist society England is much less dysfunctional than that of the United States, and unless you're a complete clod, you would know that the Royals are really nothing more than impotent figureheads these days. And by the way, THE VELVET UNDERGROUND WAS NOT PUNK. Alternative rock, avant-garde, art rock, PROTO-punk, BUT DEFINITELY NOT PUNK. The Ramones were straight rock 'n'roll.
