u better read history books more carefully, the mistake Persians made was they never used sword to make others to speak their language an adapt their culture, instead of giving freedom of worship and language

Well, no one speak "Persian" on both side of the Gulf so why they have to call it Persian? South Iran are predominantly Arabs. The Semitic people on both sides were there for 10,000 years before the migration of Iranians from north, and the invasion of Cyrus the great to south Iran. Historically, people who live in the Gulf always the Semite Arabs. Persians never been a sea people and that's why they lost some wars i.e Greece!
