actually not cancer. he was a hemophiliac who contracted aids from blood transfusions. he's still alive, has a book published which is getting turned into a movie, tours the country with his own synthpop group, speaks at campuses across the country, has a smoking hot wife.....yeah i am pretty jealous of his success. not the aids though.
