now THAT i can agree with. what you just said does make it more difficult to respect religion over science. and i definately agree that religion is blinding the education of young people in the world. but that killing you speak of (and is true, everyone hears everyday on the news) is due to oher religions not respecting other religions and opening their mouth and getting attacked because of it. respecting how other people think could easily save lives in several religious wars.(respected reply)

I can't agree: "religion" (better said: some religious people) don't respect science. I don't know of anyone killed by "science" because of his defense of religion, but we all know hundreds in the opposite way, don't you?We are seeing now how "religion" is forcing schools to teach "creationism" or "intelligent design" at the same level as Evolution theory", using paralogisms and/or sophism that many people can't reject due to their lack of knowledge

theres always that one kid that has to start talking about whats right about religion starting a never ending arguement. i believe in science..but religion respects science and me with science, i respect others religion.someone once said to me, science explains how and religion explains why.
