I believe she got in trouble with the law after gunning down the man who hurt/killed her sister. My memory is a little off so perhaps someone could back me up on this or correct me.

The best part is that there's something behind the curtain. A lot of performers manage the cute routine but lose their souls and their minds somewhere along the way. Pam Grier always has kept hers and never forgotten where she came from.
