If I ever travel to Los Angeles I will visit this memorial. I had no idea it existed until now and I have been an Elliot Smith fan for years. I absolutely love his music. RIP Eliott

thx teenagedirtbag, my bad, i was going to get the album this song is from at the weekend but there was a seriously intimidating cue...I really regret it now... what i find great is that so many of E.S 's fans are really genuine in what they post, in what they think of him, just like his music...

It was the 21st. And its "You turned white like a saint";]He will forever be missed. I still sing and play his songs every single day. What he's done for music and how everyone can relate to it is something only a handful of people have done. May he find his light.

Elliott Smith helped me posthumously as the soundtrack to my descent into and "recovery" from a severe period of depression. I'm still "coooooooky," as my son would say, but at least I'm not hating myself anymore. Things like that are why people are still so moved by this video. |
