"can produce 5 times as much power as it consumes""Yes it does"hmm... ok. An electrician and businessman put some magnets and battery together and violate the First Law of Thermodynamics and all that's been worked in last several centuries. Unless they are converting mass into energy like the multibillion dollar tokamak fusion projects, not likely, this is the very definition of a hoax and shows the just how scientifically illiterate the TV news media is. Pure BS.

Nothing new here. This is totally believable. I myself designed one that works much like this only I did it in grade school as a science project which I submitted to NASA along with a few other inventions. I am currently working on a life size prototype that will power a house or vehicle so this is not at all far fetched to me. My design also does not need a battery to start it.

Here is a way that a residential house could effectively store solar energy during the five hours of good sunshine, to last for the full twenty-four hours. Use a hydraulic elevator system lifting a very heavy weight, where the energy is stored by the gravity of the weight. When the sun goes down,or when more power is needed during the five hours of good sunshine, the very heavy weight movement is reversed and the hydraulics is used to generate power.

if this thing IS the real deal, all I can say is DON'T let some oil or energy company buy the rights to it, or it'll never see the light of day

McCain has a habit of not sticking with his party. It is possible that he could help us do better with the use of alternative forms of energy. The military has had to use other forms of energy in the field. I think we could actually get somewhere with alternative forms of energy.

If its revolutionary and possibly beneficial to mankind forces inside the government will make sure it never sees the light of day in the U.S. The 2-parties are determined to keep America primitive.
