In a couple of years. They'll be reading Jim's poetry at schools and universities. Together with Rimbaud and Blake. Like one of our contemporary american poets. And some people will need to swallow their own tongues...

First of all, we can't compare. There is a huge difference between the "superficial" and "commercial" lyrics of the Beatles and the mystic and spiritual message hidden in The Doors lyrics. The Doors was an instrument for poetry,performance and cult. Jim's "Friends" know what I'm talking about. Beatles lyrics...You don't need brain for that. To understand The Doors works, you need to be into. So, don't try to impress here.You can keep your "english dolls". We stay with Jim.

That just proves how little you know of the Beatles catalog. Sure, they took a couple years to figure out how to write songs, and there was a lot of crap from '63-'65 - but Magical Mystery Tour, Sergeant Pepper, The White Album, and Abbey Road were, collectively, a better body of work than the entire Doors catalogue.Best thing they ever did was the American Prayer record, ironically assembled after the drunken loudmouth died.
