Cool video, how dated yet cool it is! It's uniquely Japanese in its presentation as well, with the superhero schtick they do. Damn good tune, as well. Better than I remember it being, anyway, but then again I never really paid attention to it back in the day.

X Japan may have created the term and popularized the genre as such but EZO used Kabuki based makeup 20 years ago, and Kabuki is what Visual Kei is based on as well. EZO was never glam - certainly not in the British or US sense of the word.

They wern't Visual Kei though they were GLAM. Every band before Visual Kei who were Visual Kei were GLAM. It's hard to understand but X Japan created the term. |
