I recommend everyone to read Kua Kia Soong's book 'May 13: Declassified Documents on the Malaysian Riots of 1969'. It is a brilliant revisionist account of the real high political motivating forces behind the May 13th riots.

NEP's intentions were good but instead of creating a fairer system and moving towards meritocracy, it did the opposite: Lazy got bribes and Stupid were promoted (even CEOs). How do you motivate people? Makes things easier or give them challenges? What example is the Gov setting?

We can do more than hope , we can expose all the fakes whether they are Gov or oppos.And we can lead our lives as we want and not by the dictats of incompetent / corrupt politicians of all colours.Just because you are a woman and /or you have a paper qualification don't mean you are a good representative.Most Mysians remain effectivey UNrepresented despite all the bullshit hooha about how great the BR has done .
