Because Marillion consisted of five members, of whom four stayed together. It ain't rocket science. Sheesh, how would you guys have coped in the sixties & seventies when band members changed more frequently than a hippies socks... hang on, that's not right. I meant more often than the weather.

Fish wasn't in it for that long. And time goes on. Both have good qualities and both brought/bring in a lot of great things for the band, but it's like compairing apples with oranges.

Very true, I agree. And add to that you can't really compare both eras simply because they're set in a different time. You cannot compare 70's, 80's, 90's or 00's (is that even right? ;-) ) Marillion.
