For those of you who do not know him... you should google "Paul Robeson". A true American who was not totally appreciated. Son of a slave, a graduate of an Ivy League school, All American football player, Head of his class, multi-lingual, an actor, singer, etc.. etc.. Thank you for posting this great man singing one of his impressive songs

Allways on the side of the oppressed, he would have been on the side of the poor palestinians. I allways think of them - the oppressed of today - whwn I hear him sing. And one day - Lord have mercy - the terrible regime Israel is shut down, and peace will reign again in the mideast. The last 3 score years have seen violence ion unprecedented levels, happily Paul wasn't around to see the last of it.I know he talkes about "Israe". This must of course be seen in a spiritual context.

Man, just listen to that voice. Such emotion, power, and talent. Paul Robeson was a great and special man.
