dear bubthunder...slight correction: for those of us lucky enough to have lived during Del's prime years he will never be forgotten AT ALL, even for a micro-second!!!!

Del is a somewhat forgotten legend. This song is a tremendous blend of styles from the old days, the doo wop with a blend of country, maybe set up that why by the industry, but still perfect for its time. I love this song, and I love Del, and I play this song enough loving Motown sound and the white interpretation of the Motown sound, which is a difficult sell since Motown was mostly white-written.Love all the old Doo Wop. Del is too often forgotten.

Man thats one of my greatest dreams, being a guitar hero upon a stage with go go girls and a Musitron, and maybe Holly Gollightly too...

The key board player is playing an electric organ called a musitron. The keyboard players name is Max Crook. Max was also a cowriter of this legendary song. This is probably one of the best examples of early 60's rock and roll. Del was one of the best.

I used to always think this was Roy Orbinson. Keep in mind I'm only 26 but I remember my dad used to play this all the time when I was younger.
