It just shows how little they know. Everybody is a tuff guy with a big mouth until they really find out what it's like to be in there with a pro at the championship level. Tyson used to knock his sparring partners heads off but most pros just go easy and work on certain things they wouldn't be able to work on full force with another top level pro. You can make anybody look like superman if you work on defense and throw shots every now and then.

Exactly. Amazing how people still think Sparring is a fight. I'm all for advising newcomers to the sport, but honestly. Larry Holmes used to beat up on Ali in sparring, and all the amateurs would sulk about Ali being washed up, his wins are setups, etc, etc.

A real boxer doesn't show all of his tools in a sparring match unless he is forced. Sparring is to work on things and sharpen up. If the guy he is sparring with is so great then who is he and where are his multiple world titles? Sparring is just what it is, sparring and nothing else.

If mosley would apply more pressure he would of won the fight clearly...Margarito watched the fight between mosley-cotto and knew what he had to do...
