holy shit, man there ARE NO SUCH THING AS MISTAKES WHEN YOUR FLYING A BILLION DOLLAR big ass bomber
ELIKIS503 (October 7, 2008 at 1:31 am)
That was a pilot error. He pulled up too early, that's why the plane went back down again. And he tried to pull up with a left stroke on the flight stick.Thats an error

This was not pilot's mistake.

1.2 Billion dollars...no power locks, windows, not even cup holders!! Hope they got full coverage insurance!Seriously tho...WTF was that pilot doing? It looks as if he tried to climb too soon, too sharply and stalled it!

ELIKIS503 (October 6, 2008 at 7:50 am)
Okay.. That comes out of the people's moneyand a bit from the pilot's paycheck

The widely accepted figure for the total project cost of each aircraft is ~$2.1 billion in ~1998 dollars.

Presumably that was the first use of the ejector system in a life and death situation?Imagine making the decision to eject from a B2. I know it's your life and all that but it's a goddamn $1,000,000,000 airplane. People have died for a lot less than $1bn.
Guvoro (October 5, 2008 at 8:20 pm)
Thats not true! It costs 1 BILLION Dollars...

That is a hell of a shame... I bet the damage will buff right out though. |
