Outstanding artist. Still sounds like the Al Green that drove the ladies crazy in the 70's.

What can I say I love me some Al Green!!!Young ,old howeva whateva. But you guys really want a treat buy his novel(Take me to the River)This book will give you an whole different aspect of Al Green. I mean he tells a lot of info about what you would never think. For example he explains if people really knew it's really (3)Al green's inside of him.The sexy womanizer, the preacher, and the one that never gets to express himself!!I can't tell too much more about it,you need to really read it yourself!!

The album is so unbelievably good! Definitely the best soul album of the 2008 and I don't think someone will come up with better songs. It is very pleasing to hear that soulaquarian sound because of poyser and questo and also that mellow and sweet al green vibe! Simply beautiful!!!
