I never listened to a song by Natalie that I didn't believe came straight from her heart. That is either an incredible feat of deception or a body of work which is as soulful as soulful can be. I am convinced it is the latter. She moves my little pittance of a soul anyway. She keeps me on the track of humanity when I could easily become a violent man in deluded defence of my culture and heritage. Maybe she contributes to the weakening of the western man or maybe she contributes to our civility..
