I just love this song...here I am sitting here alone on thanksgiving weekend while my husband went away with a bunch of friends....I lost my youngest brother in june and my mom in august; my oldest son left in august to join the armed forces as well....I feel so alone; too bad my husband after 28 years wouldn't think about what I need; maybe a little love and comfort after such a difficult time....too bad we don't connect as he is and always will be the love of my life...

I may not have had a girlfriend, but I do have a lot of people who are in my heart and love very much. They mean everything to me. And I would give so much to God if I could just be given the chance to have things go back to those times. So even though this song is about love between couples, it still makes me think about them. I still cry like a baby every time I hear it....I love this girl so much but now we talk and I beg her to work it out with me but everything is so different and she won't give me the time of day and I'd give my life for her...Love is a complicated thing and I don't know if I'll ever understand it....I hope to God she sees this, you know who you are....I love you
