The Egyptians invented a writing source with papyrus. The Chinese invented true paper by pounding wood fibers. You're right they didn't invent the cannon it was like it but different, They invented portable mortars. But they did invent the flamethrower, bomb, signal flares, and other black powdered weapons. Yes the European versions were far superior using tempered steel.

The Chinese didnt invent the cannon. They had some cannon like weapon made of bamboo but nothing compared to the European cannons. Also everyone thinks the Chinese invented paper but the Egyptians did.

For India you play as Akbar, for China you play as Kangxi, and for Japan you play as Tokugawa.

P.S the Koreans were invaded by the Japanese in the 1500's and they didn't have much of a military. The navy was all Japanese. You are partially right.
