dahm boi! since i'm a Michigan woman i feel free to disparage my state by saying--glad to know there are still intelligent people here. perhaps that feeling comes from living in close proximity to Flint.

I love this song!. The lead reminds me of a guy i knew in from Western High School of Louisville Ky, Chris Schwartzer - he was a redhead too and had his haircut like that. I used to have such a crush on him. I was a classmate of his sister Debbie and we used to write notes back and forth when i was a freshman. :)

yea 80's were cool but the 70's was the best in Detroit Concerts every weekend...there's no party like a Detroit Party !

As a Michigan Man, I can honestly tell each and every one of you that this song is a fantastic example of why I clutch only one decade fiercely to the big M on my chest. This bittersweet reverie from my youth, pregnant with memories, drowns the parched soil of my present with livegiving nutrients that make a Michigan Man like me refuse to relinquish the will to live. Musically, what a lush, vivid rainforest those years of creativity on viagra were. Now, musicians are, creatively, totally limp

The song was actually released (in the UK) in something like December of 1983...but it did not chart till 1984. In the US, the album INTO THE GAP with this song was not released till 1984.
