Agreed, only other issues is the slightly upped price in comparison to other netbooks and the glossy display (which is a disaster for a mobile device but, hey noone's perfect).Hopefully this little fellow will come with atom or nano cpu's within a couple of months. That'd make it THE notebook replacement to get.

If only this was a 1.6ghz cpu across the range. Here in the UK we get a slower via chip, the 1.2GHz and its slow as hell with suse or xp. If you are in the UK stay clear of this model. It's a shame as it is the best constructed one we have tested yet at work.

for a little more than $749+tax i can get a real notebook 13-14 inch with a better cpu and graphics card. this HP isn't worth it i don't care how "sexy" or "well-built" it is.

Any word on reviewing the one with SuSE Linux on it? I have yet to see one with Linux - only TigerDirect did one and didn't really focus on what OpenSuSE has to offer. I use it as one of my virtual machines but i think it would be good for those who are curious about Linux. |
