wat a controversial song, every1 can believe wat they want , I believe in god but not going to force anyone else to believe in him it's ur choice, however millions of people do die and is ashame but how do u know thts god's doin, could be the devil or another dark force

If you believe in yourself and in the power of love (like John Lennon), then INDIRECTLY you do believe in God because those things are of God. If you live your life trying to do what is right, and you try to treat people the best way that you can, then you are doing God's work. At least that's what I believe. You don't have to recite scriptures and convert people to be a Christian.

what the hell was going through this guys head when he wrote this song. it sucks. this has the same quality as harrisons song about bangladesh. yet they both originated as christians, and just went down hill from there.

let me describe God for ya'll in simple terms, like apples and oranges. now some of you know the game of poker right? well, you have the option of betting preflop, on the turn or the river. now, the cards don't bet themselves. it is the player who determines what the cards are worth to him, and he does some betting. now we're so ignorant to think we're in control of our destiny. but that ain't the case. likewise someone is placing a bet on our quality just above the clouds there. take a look.

Not really, there are many different kinds of religion, some in which have completely opposite beliefs. The hard part of uniting them all is that they all have the same amount of proof(none). Non-religious people share the facts, ideas, and theories, and are more than willing to change their mind when they learn new things. The facts exist so it is easier for people to agree on them.I think people believe in religion to answer unknown questions and to make death seem a little more pleasant.
