well in my country the mini Hatchback Toyota is called Echo till 2004 then they changed the name to Yaris and in 2006 they made the sedan Yaris but the Hatchback version is more stylish and less fuel consumption .

these reviews are awesome. they from people who actually own the car rather than top gear where its very entertaining but dosent really tell you if you should buy or not. and top gear alot of the time reviews supercars which most people cant afford. :)

international naming is now done by multi-lingual focus groups to avoid names like the Honda Bumhole and Mitsubishi Phallus. Shame I say.Nick

It's either or. Its called badge engineering. It was called the Yaris outside North America, but in Canada and Australia it was called the ECHO. ITs the same car. Of course the second gen is now called Yaris everywhere.

i agree with EVERYTHING that man says my yaris is same year and same engine size! i love my yaris and wouldnt have it any other way! i like the spedometer means passangers cant complain about ur speed :D:D:D:D x x x |
