These are great videos. One thing - might you get a little more sustain by holding it vertically? The disks can jingle a little better in the middle of the horn (maybe?) That's how I play it in my U2b "vibraslap 2007" but I'm the worst expert noobster ever at music.

I didn't hear a vibraslap on Mexican Radio. Listen to "Short Skirt/Long Jacket" by Cake if you want to hear a vibraslap.

Check out the live version of G'n'R "Civil War"...into the Voodoo Chile intro, there's the vibraslap playing...

probably the best example of a vibraslap is in Mexican Radio by Wall of Voodoo.

there is a vibraslap in Rush's "closer to the heart" just in case some of you dont know...... can ya tell where it is? have a good day all :)

its actually used in alot of rock songs...you may not even notice. for example "Teenagers" by My Chemical Romance has a vibraslap in it..yay!! |
