I think that internationally, and his past embassador status he is great, but he tends to be more republican than democratic... He could beat any republican that's has been in the running, but based on his views he's mainly a republican deep down... My problem with this would be, what's the differance than what we have now?? And if he runs in four years, we need to really look into this... just a though

Richardson is certainly my favorite of the running candidates (Gore would be #1). I like his experience, I like that he is a WESTERN governor. Clinton, OBama, and Edwards lack both foreign and especially working executive experience. I will likely support whoever comes out of from the Democratic party, but I'm worried that we are going to get someone lacking experience. I do wish Richardson projected more charisma, which in my mind is his weakest issue. Thank you Moveon for the posting.

Richardson raised taxes in NM for the middle income and lowered taxes for the rich...just like Bush! He supports a health plan that protects insurance companies-not people...shameful! He refuses to help the support staff at UNM hospital... 40% of those hard working employees qualify for medicaid. Nearly 50% are hispanic! More shameful behavior! They deserve better! They deserve a living wage! Do the right thing. It's not too late!

I really hope Richardson becomes the presidential candidate. He can defeat EVERY republican candidate. That's why they are so afraid of him. He's the man.

yeah, I supported Iraqi freedom at first, and the capture of Saddam, the civilian gasser, but I think its time for the troops to come home now.

Folks lining up behind Bill Richardson might want to take a hard look at: breakthegrip dot org. Then, once you've taken a hard look - do your own research and see if you're still comfortable with him.
