Many Japanese people I have talked to are grateful for the way America helped get Japan back on its feet through McCarther directly after the war. Because of MacCarthur thousands and thousand of starving people were saved.People expected retribution and they received instead food and aid.

Why people talk about War, who is the right,who is the wrong....We lost a point of War. That is "Civilian"who make a living under the sky, on the soil.We need to imagine how they feel to be a kindof politics and economic victims of all those people. This is very stressful, because every countryman at that time, cannot speak out what they are thinking like negative or positive. Fear can easily deliver "mask of obedient". I really hope those days never comes again.

they are both evil. haha the old men in this video were all about to get a heart attack whe nthey saw these pictures. if the japanese keep showing the pictures of the atomic bomb and stuff wh ydont they have a look at the pictures of what they did in pearl harbor also.. or even worst what the japanese have done in china, they killed millions of chinese and rape the women. i dont see them showing that to their children

i admit that the bombing raids were horrible killing up to millions overallbut why should WE apologize when many japanese do not acknowledge THEIR crimes and THEIR massacresi'm not denying america's killing of civilians, so don't accuse me of THATjust acknowledge the fact that japanese did some fucked up shit as well, and breaking just about every listing on the Geneva Convention (and i don't care that the japanese never signed it)instead of making it look like americans were the badguys

No blame for the Jap government in prolonging their civilians' suffering by not surrendering? Not to mention the suffering of the Chinese, Koreans, Phillipinos, etc. "Liberated the oppressed people of the world"?
