I am missing one arm ..not both. I have a left hand to type with. lost my rt.arm in 1989 saving a girl from being raped by 4 guys,butcher knives cut my arm up pretty bad..the vain they took from my leg and put in my arm collapsed. arm got gain green. 6 operations later i had the choice of a very chewed up arm or amputate. I chose amputation. they left all the nerves in my arm incase science ever caught up enough that i might be able to use the nerves for future prostheses.

being an amputee from the elbow down on the rt.arm. this arm would change my world and allow me to do tasks that i cant do otherwise. this is a dream come true for those of us amputees, leading in the right direction for a "normal" life that most take for granted.

But you know what: the world is full of people like you who live a life of comfort because of the gifts of science that superior minds gave you. How dare you say that prosthetic limbs aren't being stalled? What about "playing God," sound familiar? We SHOULD be growing limbs by now. I'm no Marxist, I'm a technocrat in the classical sense. I believe in machines and the two hour work day. I'm an idealist.

And besides free market doesn't mean that anybody can do as they please, within their wildest imagination, it takes dedication and the know how to build a business, and if you don't have the resources or support, you fail. If the government impedes you, you fail and it is no longer free market. And people make too much money, socialists like obama come along and figure they ought to redistribute the wealth, well i'm not paying 500,000 in taxes just because parasites want to continue leeching

Free market is being threatened because of liberals like you probably are. Lobbying is part of business, influence is part of business. And do you even understand yourself? People don't go out of their way and spend money to stall the production of prosthetic limbs lol. It's just that some things aren't wise investments. Thats why enviro-marxists from the left wing may support "durr solar and wind energy" but they don't invest the millions they have personally.
