I think you are trying to presume too much about things you do not know, as in why other people like Tool that are also Christian or Religious.I am Christian and listen to Tool heavily for the artistic masterful way they compose music and bring it all together and for their messages and views, I understand them and relate to much of them but those I don't I find very interesting.

I am Jewish and I like this song a lot Even though I am not allowed to listen to this stuff..I find no harm in this kind of music. It is just my mom always being a asshole.

in the case booklet ,of the album "opiate" ,there is a picture of a guy farking a skinned corpse lol

lol yeah that does seem a bit odd dosen't it.But there are those kind of people that are Tool fans that may be religious. My guess is some are more into the sound then the messsage. Some of those types may understand the meaning while maybe others are naive. But I can't blame them Tool has an addictive sound alone.

maybe for other tool songs. but opiate.... if your a little altar boy saying you like that song is just being a dumbass

TheGreatTelbologist I see what you man but I know a few people of the christian faith that love Tool. I'm also certain that they understand usually what is being said in their songs. For some the sound of the music is what captures them. The riffs, Maynard vocals, drums, etc. I myslef listen to music from time to time that may disagree with my views. I think that can be a good thing because your at least aware of other opinions then your own.

Not "then" (meaning consequently), than* (which is used to introduce the second member of an unequal comparison). So, how much more do you know THAN us "fucktards"?

Obviously they miss how Maynard mocks Christianity. |
