in other words, you gotta watch out for objects of voodoo. we are all suseptable ( as immature, young creatures ) to things that have the ability to put us in a trance or spiral. a mental trance. and once we are captured by these 'voodoo' things we cannot get out by way of youthful sparatic behavior. in immature it seems as if it will work, though in reality any attempt from within the framework of a youthful anxiety driven cognitive environment. there is no escape.

the point for me is usually a phsycical object that i observe.

one point. that the mind can focus on. without being distracted by all other objects surrounding the particular point at the particular time of concious understanding.

i personally prefer poetry, even though I sometimes can't keep myself from engaging in philosophical discussions. as far as narrowing down thoughts, i try not to stay focused on any one thought for too long. that gets boring.

i think the future will bring a science of spiritual experience and transformation so that a rationally informed version of mysticism will in effect be democratized. |
