[1 of 3]Thank you for posting this. As an atheist I think it's important it's 'out there'. Yes, it's easy to see how for many people it will reinforce their own faith, but more significantly I think, it illustrates the role played by belief in non-existant beings throughout mankind's history and how it endures to this day.

[2 of 3]I don't think it coincidental that this youngster is from a small rural Christian community and that his leasure is spent listening to Christian radio. It's not surprising, given his isolation from all world views other than that in which he's been immersed throughout his life, that those 'wise' phrases will roll of the tongue so effortlessly in his grief.

[3 of 3]Let's hope his internet success and the fact so many religious people are almost 'worshiping' his words will open his eyes to other ways of seeing life, and as he grows up, he'll be able to let go of this child-like way of seeing the world to one more grounded in reality.
