I find this video amazing! In addition to the uncomparable voice of Diana, it's funny to see how she enjoy singing! Also the director Jeremie Rhorer, aka Harry Potter, is completely amazed! Thanks for this video.

Querido, me gusta mucho la señora Damrau, pero AÚN A DÍA DE HOY Gruberova sigue siendo superior, por ser un portento de técnica vocal y fiato inacabable.De todas formas, Damrau está estupenda en este aria. 5/5.

De lejos la mejor soprano absoluta, su bellisimo registro parejo y perfecto en los tres registros y en cuarto sobre agudo unica e impresionante, y por favor no me saquen a la Callas, o a la Gruberova, que ellas EN SU EPOCA, fueron inigualables, pero HOY, la Damrau no tiene a nadie que la supere.

What about 'Wenn dem Adler das Gefieder' from Der Rauchfangkehrer? It has been recorded before so I don't know is it rare enough for you ;)

I sincerely hope Miss Damrau is taking great care of her voice. A voice capable of such agility and dramaticness is all too rare! I'm honestly worried that by pushing her voice to such dramatic height she's sacrificing her vocal longevity...I hope I'm wrong, of course.

Try out some of the stuff Bartoli sings, it should be well in soprano range.Also 'Son queste le speranze' from Axur, I uploaded it a while ago, take a look and find out whether you like it or not. |
