Some people would argue that Doom relies on a lot of smoke and mirror's in his lyrics, with no real point rhyme or reason in a lot of his verses. It depends on what facets of music you put emphasis on; if imagery and deciphering riddles is your thing, then MF would seem like a poet, however if you dig down to earth messages and straight up ideas, then MF might seem like a gimmick. I happen to be a fan of his, but I can understand both opinions.

Doom is Zev Love X from KMD. Just watch one of their vids and you will see this same man from 1989 to about 93. KMD was ill. I saw Doom at BB King's and it was the same voice, this same man, and the same man as on Carson Daily, Rock The Bells, etc... He rolls with some big dudes in giant shirts. That voice is unique. You can't fake that shit live. All of his pics are this same man because IT IS MF DOOM a.k.a. Zev Love X from KMD. Yall need to look some shit up. Rappers voices can be difft live
