It seems that alot of Bruce's solo career is musically different than Iron Maiden, alot of his songs in his solo career don't follow Maiden's heavy style, this song does alot more than the rest, but I think one of his reasons for leaving was to kind of try new things for a while. I believe he had every intention of returning, he just needed a break to renew his fire for being in Iron Maiden. You can tell that Brave New World is better than Fear of the Dark in so many ways, glad he's back thogh

Bruce's solo stuff sounded more like Iron Maiden than Maiden did at the time.

I think that they actually only did that for Chemical Wedding but I could be wrong on that. I never heard that about this album but I could be wrong.

If only they had Adrian and Davy playing in this album and all his solo stuff. IF would of rivaled some Maiden stuff. BOTH KICK ASS!!!!!!! Long live Bruce and Maiden!!!!!

yeah i use the same guage on my 5 string. I tend to play more megadeth than maiden these days though. But i can definetly get into dickinson's solo stuff.
