Amen brother,i'd rather have an old half worn out Americanmade machine, than a brand new foreign piece of crap.

Quality, back when Americamade machines built to last. I remember my school had all Oliver and Northfield.

Yeah, we're used to the dust, but we bought a HUGE industrial vacuum system, with all the piping, even the storage building for it, at auction a couple of years ago. Just haven't completed the installation yet.. And yep, if a fire ever gets started in here, it's going to be one hot fire..But I'm well insured, plus I have duplicates of all these machines that I have bought at auctions, in storage elsewhere, just in case.

wonderful shop. I love the old rockwell tools-the best If something dos go wrong they can be rebuilt. we have a small shop all 1950s delta homecraft ece. a new grizzly jointer and lathe. I see now dust collection system. how can you stand that I would be afraid of a fire with all the piles of dust ,there is a shop up the street from us and it had a bad fire 2 years ago and lost some nice vintage machines
