You can only say that as long you believe that the bible is metaphorical and not literal.

i said science confirms things that christians believe..such as science proving that the shroud of turin is real, which is in the Bible, that the chalice found was actually used in the days of Jesus, and it has writing on it about Jesus' existence. The Bible makes references to astronomy, biology, and meteorology, which are all science..science can contradict and prove christianity, it just depends on what you side you're looking at it from. i never said that either one was correct.

...dude, christianity totally contradicts science in every way....plus, in the bible science is a sin really, all bullshittery aside. and please, name something that christians believe that science has proven, because i can't think of anything that can be scientifically proven that's in the bible.

The sun's Death in the movie is actually caused by a Q-Ball. A Q-ball refers to a type of non-topological soliton that the sun traps unto itself. A soliton is a self-reinforcing solitary wave (a wave packet or pulse) that maintains its shape while it travels at constant speed. Solitons are caused by a cancellation of nonlinear and dispersive effects in the medium.Even though are sun is a bit too small to get a Q-ball, it is a very sound reason for why the sun might be dying so early.

He looks like Brian Cox the physicist heading the Large Hedron Collider project at CERN, who also was a consultant on the film! Coinkidink? I think not, lol

Don't get your hopes up. I doubt we'll ever accomplish it, much less in our lifetimes.

Think about how much tech's changed in the last 50 years. Advanced, but not futuristic.

Faith's faith. Science is the anti-thesis of it, because it's empirical. They can co-exist, but it'd be doublethink.

you can totally believe in science and christianity at the same time..how is that impossible when so much science has proven that things christians believe truly happened or existed? science and christianity might not always agree, but they are so intertwined.. |
