well, i've not suffered from the spur (unlikely, as i've never been down under!) but from what i've heard gopherdude is right, the pain really is excruciating. What extraordinary and wonderful animals they are. They even inspired me to write a poem aged 10!

Ummm.... wtf? Yes, of course they do, obviously they still exist if they have modern footage of them. Their Conservation Status is currently ranked at "Least Concern".
