I am glad it came back, because it surely died in 1992. It forced me to quit, because you couldn't get the equipment, find any ramps, or anyone to skate with! I am trying to relearn and it's a slow process. It's fun!

i dont think vert is dead at all... They recently built a skatepark with a vert just 50 miles from my house... and another one in corby, about 2.5 hours away. And at the corby one theres a competition today with first prize being £10,000... so theres definitly money in it. if you look at all the new prodigy skaters theyre all vert skaters, or at least park skaters - its the way forward, if anythings dead its street.
