I just think that's so disrespectful, and it shows a lot about people's greed & selfish need to feel power over each other. I think that when ANYONE takes a new name, its an act of personal empowerment - not necessarily due to religious conversion either. Whenever people see someone empowered, they want to tear them back down to their level. If he wanted to be called "Apple Fritter", that's what his name would be!!!! |
