Yes but it can go max of 2gb and you need 1 2gb stick because you cant use 2 1gb sticks. It has to be 667 mhz ram.

yepp, it's quite nice. with version 2.0.0.72 it seems stable... cross platform a/v chat works as intended...

with the eeepc aswell, you need to turn on the webcam in the bios cause the default setting for it in the bios is off....why you may ask, cause in the "surf" models there is no webcam and all the 7 series eeepc use the same mainboard, so that is why...and to answer youe question madgamer, Yes! the ram on the 701 4g/8g models is upgradeable and aslong as you use ddr2 ram you should be fine, and it'ss take up to 2gb of ram in one stick, as there is only 1 ram bay
