yemenis and ethiopians don't share the same origins and about yemen being ruled alongside ethiopia, well yemen has been colonized by ethiopians for info :Pas for your claim, add a date because it wouldnt make sense then why did the sahaba flew to ethiopia if yemen was the same?

In ancient times, Yemen and Ethiopia used to be the same kingdom. Even at the time of Muhammad (pbuh), Yemen and Ethiopia were ruled under the same throne. The Ethiopian royals claimed to be the descendents of King Suleiman (pbuh) and Queen Bilqis.
