@ kettleriv: my favourite boxer of that time was not Cassius Clay, not Sonny Liston but the great, great Floyd Patterson who was the first to break the " they never come back" law. hpug, as Tosches indicated, Clay was not in on the fixin either fight but his Moslem handlers made sure Sonny didn't get any silly ideas about keeping the title he worked so hard to get.
