1986's topped on Dance charts/smash-hit "I Can't Wait" by Nu Shooz in my own video-remixed from the Original 12" Maxi-Mix Promo around the world a.k.a. "Long Dutch Vocal Mix". This version contains a sample from "Into the Groove" by Madonna and takes the pitchshifting of the chorus even further "C'MON", creating an eventual "pitchdown" at the ending. Well, you know...hope you'll enjoy it!Review.- Formed 1980 in Portland,OR Nu Shooz was a 1980s dance music group fronted by husband and wife duo John Smith and Valerie Day, based out of Portland, Oregon. In 1986 they scored two major pop / R&B / dance hits: "I Can't Wait," which climbed to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart. Its follow-up, "Point Of No Return," also topped the dance chart and hit #28 on the Hot 100.Their final pop chart entry was "Should I Say Yes?" which hit #41, but they had two more dance hits, one of which, "Are You Lookin' For Somebody Nu," topped out at #2 on the dance charts in 1988."I Can't Wait" is a song by Nu Shooz released as a single in 1986 on the album "Poolside". The song is noted for its instantly-recognizable bassline and for its catchy "Uh ooh oh uh oh ooh uh oh" chorus. The 12" Extended Mix contains a sample from "Into the Groove" by Madonna and takes the pitchshifting of the chorus even further, creating an eventual "pitchdown" at the ending. In the United States, the song reached #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on Billboard's dance chart in 1986. In fact, its chart run coincided with that of a Stevie Nicks song also titled "I Can't Wait", a rare incidence of two different songs with the same title charting at the same time.In the United Kingdom the song reached #2 on the UK Singles Chart. In addition, with honours reached number 8 on list "Top 200 Dance Hits of the 80's" wich one topped by M. Jackson's "Billie Jean"/"Beat It".The song was covered in 2002 by British R&B group Ladies First and reached #19 on the UK chart.

I'd love to do a re-edit of this, take out that horrible dog barking riff, its class other than that, it's all about that bassline & her voice
