yeah i agree albums from from earlier '70s and '77(selling england by the pound for example) are far more complex than post 1979 albums like abacab n invisible touch.

Clearly you play no musical instrument nor do you understand music theory and composition. Post 1979 Genesis is trite and simplistic. Appealing to the masses without a musical ear or training. Pablum for musical infants. 1970-1977 Genesis is much more adventurous music, with more complex chord progressions, tone colour, and lyrics. Post 1979 Genesis is not even worthy of the name Genesis. Don't even try and defend Duke, voted widely in 1980 as the worst album of the year.
