You are sounding like a religious nutter there my boy, calm thyself. Also remember tolkien took much of his world from established mythologies and then twisted and turned them in and around to his specifications. The man was great but he was not perfect.....for a guy who loves epic lit there is hardly any sexuality for one thing! lol

Did he really just say what I thought I heard? He cares for the world PETER JACKSON created??? Yeah well in that case I care for the world Morgoth created. Oh wait... didn't he take the world Iluvatar created and warp it to fit his own screwed up desires? Have people really so far forgotten what the real Lord of the Rings is that they don't even remember that all Peter Jackson did was make a bad imitation of J.R.R. Tolkien's masterpiece? No wonder Christopher Tolkien is fighting this thing!

His role as "young Bilbo Baggins" was quite brief and required a lot of makeup. Not to mention it wasn't a physically challenging scene. I don't think Ian Holm has it in him to act whole movie as a central character - and a young one at that! I love that little man. I think McAvoy would do well. He looks like a Hobbit.
