Let me clarify that he is Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri. This is a very old video when he was young. He has always been that good.

So the person posting this video thinks that Dr. Qadri's sin is that he is inviting all Muslims to say prayers by Jamaat irrespective of the maslak of the Imaam? His sin is that he is promoting the unity of Muslim Ummah and trying to save ulemas from disrespect? But this all increases his respect deeply in my heart. Brothers, in this hard time on Muslim Ummah if he is trying to find the common grounds among Shias, and Inte-Sunni circles, why should not we support him rather criticize him.

I encourage everyone here to search for Shaykh Nuh Ha Mim Keller's excellent treatise "Iman, Kufr and Takfir" and read the section concerning the Deobandi/Barelwi conflict.

The Deobandi are Ahlasunnah! They follow the muzhab of Abu Hanifa and thei Aqaid is moderate and not extreme like other people...In fact Deoban is only a district in Inida. These people are called Deobandi by haters of Islam who try and divide the Ummah. brothers and sisters DO NOT be decieved, Deobandi simply is a region where great scholara have strived for Islam!
