I am a new singer I've only been at it about less than a year; I took voice 101 and I was able (in warm-ups) for just a brief 2 seconds to have natural vibrato. It felt weird and awesome. I want to get that feeling back. Where did it go? I miss it. Please help.

If you're not used to stretching, then the soreness is completely normal. It should go away with daily practice. Be gentle with your body though. Ease yourself into the stretches. Only go as far as you can without excessive discomfort.
