Yes, that is entirely true but you'll never know whether he'll decide to come back into the band by the start of the tour or not at all. With musicians anything's possible. He hasn't left them for good. There was no official statement of his of that. He's just doing some other things at the moment. Checked it better on their official site's message board. He's a lovely fella, isn't he?

He's in Heaven 17 and British Electric Foundation (B.E.F.). No recent news on him although he'll be touring UK together with the fellow city mates ABC and The Human League from November 30th to December 13th as a part of the Steel City Tour. There you go! ;-)

I'm into Sheffield music scene a lot, especially the one between the late '70s and mid '90s. It is a city that has changed the face of British music for good as well. Electronic music revolution started right there. I had to check the Internet for the bands I haven't heard of before like Little Man Tate et al. I don't know how Liverpool won . But I assume it is for The Beatles alone. Yes, it is true that it didn't produced as many (worthy) bands as, say, Sheffield or Manchester indeed. |
