profilercms was questioning whether Holdsworth was on the album.

what a drag when you hit 'reply' and the fucking post appears at the top, instead of underneath the post you wanted to reply to.

raggedy - noone said otherwise. Read a couple posts back where it mentions J.C.'s solo off "Bruford Tapes", and Holdsworth's solos appearing above and in "One of a Kind".

Holdsworth wasn't on the Bruford Tapes. It was a guy named John Clark.

Do you like 'The Brufird Tapes.'

Got to listen to that version then, can't believe it is better than Holdsworth's though, the one on the original album is amazing. I never lost my taste for that solo since i heard it 30 years ago. I have it on my IPOD and listen to it at least once a week. Anyway i will try to check out J.C.'s, thansk for the reply

Nope. I was sayin I like J.C.'s solo off "Bruford Tapes" more than A.H.'s, above, (and in "One of a Kind"). Seemed note for note - both of A.H.'s solos. Coulda at least grabbed a violin bow like Jimmy Page for this one. And a 9" blue spiked mohawk. Oh well.
profilercms (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Are you saying that it wasn't Holdsworth on the original album playing the solo over the last part of the song?
profilercms (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Doesn't get much better than this. Unfucking real music, especially the end of this fucking song. |
