I would ask you to consider that while Shakugan no Shana may not be the coolest in your opinion, it may be the coolest for someone else. For instance, though I adore Shakugan no Shana, my two most favorite anime are Vampire Knight and Ayashi no Ceres. So it's a matter of opinion.
